
	NOTICE: In July and August Ballroom Time moves to the cozy, air-conditioned Ballroom Backroom for five SPECIAL dance events featuring expanded beginner lessons. Admission is $20 at the door in harmony with other dances held in the Backroom. Please note the start time change for Sunday events. Ballroom Time returns to the Spanish Ballroom in September with standard $15 pricing and our regular schedule. Please join us in the air-conditioned Backroom for a SPECIAL Ballroom Dedication Dance. Following a beginner lesson in International style rumba and cha-cha from 2:00-3:00 PM, our DJ will play a variety of pre-recorded music for your dancing pleasure. Please send your music and dedication equests to info@ballroomtime.org. Tell us the song(s) you'd like to hear, the dance style, and perhaps the (first) name of the special person you'd like to have mentioned in a dedication before the song plays. We'll do our best to accommodate your requests. You may request as many songs as you like; we'll enter them one song at a time in a line up that will give everyone a chance to hear their favorite song(s). And, of course, our DJ will supplement with songs representing a variety of ballroom dance styles including Waltzes, Foxtrots, Tangos, Mambos, Sambas, Merengues, Bachatas, Swing, Hustle and more... Music will play from 3:00-5:30. Admission is $20 at the door (Cash /Check/Zelle/Credit Card) Students and active-duty military pay $10. Many singles attend Ballroom Time events. No dance partner is required and all are invited. Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult. A blast of cool music will be provided by Mike Surratt performing solo just like in the old days! He' ll be playing a selection of Waltzes, Tangos, Foxtrots, Mambos, Sambas, Merengues and more. A beginner lesson in International style rumba and cha-cha starts at 2:00 pm. Live music then begins at 3:00 and goes to 5:30 pm. During the afternoon there will be a mixer, a dance demonstration, and line dance.
