Our February 11, 2024 Valentine's Day-Themed Dance 

Our February ballroom dance will take place in the historic Spanish Ballroom on Sunday afternoon February 11, 2024. Music will be provided by The  Djangolaya Quartet featuring multi-lingual vocals by Jeanine Greene.  As a tribute to Valentine's Day, all songs performed by the Quartet will have "love", "amour", "amor" or "Lieben" somewhere in the title or lyrics. The Quartet will be playing a selection of ballroom music covering Slow Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Swing and more. A large part of ballroom dance fun is having the opportunity to practice a variety of dances to live music. So please join us. Warm up music starts at 2:30 pm, and then a beginner lesson in ballroom basics starting at 2:45. Live music starts at 3:30 and goes to 6:00. There will be a mixer or two, a showcase (or dance demonstration), and a line dance during the afternoon. Admission is $15 at the door (Cash /Check/Zelle/Credit Card) or $5 for full-time students (Cash only).  Many singles attend Ballroom Time events.
