Our June 16, 2024 Ballroom Dance 

Please join us in the historic Spanish Ballroom on the afternoon of  Father's Day.  Our theme for the event is "Bring Dad to the Park!".  Dads get in free that day if accompanied by a child who pays an admission.  Please register Dad's first name by sending an email to info@ballroomtime.org.  We'll have a special name tag for him and special reserved seating for those Dads who prefer not to dance but would like to socialize, listen to beautiful music, and watch their children dance by. Don't forget to bring a picnic and note that the carousel is scheduled to be open that day.

Doors open at 2:15 pm.  A beginner lesson on ballroom basics starts at 2:45 pm with a focus on June's dance of the month, the mambo.  Live music plays from 3:30 to 6:00 provided by the ever popular Mike Surratt Trio.  We're planning a mixer or two, a samba line dance, and a showcase by Sheree and James demonstrating advanced technique and figures in our dance of the month.  Admission is $15 at the door (Cash /Check/Zelle/Credit Card) or $5 for full-time students (Cash only).  Dads get in free if accompanied by a child of any age who pays an admission.  Many singles attend Ballroom Time events. Everyone is invited.  Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
