Our May 12, 2024 Ballroom Dance
Our May ballroom dance will take place in the historic Spanish Ballroom on Sunday afternoon May 12, 2024. Music will be provided by The Djangolaya Trio with a special performance celebrating Mother's Day. The Trio will be playing a selection of ballroom music covering Slow Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Rumba, Cha-Cha, Swing and more. A large part of ballroom dance fun is having the opportunity to practice a variety of dances to live music. So please join us. There will be a beginner lesson at 2:45 pm. Live music then starts at 3:30 and goes to 6:00 pm. There will be a mixer or two, a showcase and a line dance during the event along with a few surprises just for this special day. Admission is $15 at the door (Cash /Check/Zelle/Credit Card) or $5 for full-time students (Cash only). Many singles attend Ballroom Time events. Everyone is invited. Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
