Saturday Evening August 3, 2024: The Mid-Summer Night's Dream Workshop and Dance

To help beginner ballroom dancers prepare for our regular events, we are offering a special ABC's Workshop in the Ballroom Backroom on August 3, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

The Workshop is designed with beginner to intermediate dancers in mind, and will cover ballroom leading and following techniques along with basic step figures that may be used across multiple dance styles. 

The first hour will cover the Latin/rhythm dances: mambo, rumba, bachata, cha-cha, and east coast swing.  The second hour will cover basic steps used in slow waltz,  foxtrot, ballroom tango, and samba, including step figures used in the popular samba line dance.

Following the two hours of instruction there will be general ballroom dancing to recorded music from 8:30 to 10:30 pm. 

The Workshop will be taught by Ballroom Time staff Tom Hall and Min Zhang who have a combined total of over 50 years of ballroom dance experience.

Admission to this special event is $20 (Cash /Check/Zelle/Credit Card at the door) for the entire evening.  Full-time students and dance students actively enrolled in our Thursday evening class series may enter for $10. 

Many singles attend Ballroom Time events.  No partner is required and all are invited.  Children under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
